History of the Event

The first event was held in March 2014 at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester, UK which hosted two very successful events. The event then moved to a new location, the prestigious Chester Racecourse which also proved popular.. Every year we have been expanding and growing the event, showcasing the best suppliers to the market and this year is no different as we move to a larger exhibition venue, Bowlers in Manchester. Our event provides important information to our attendees, such as learning new techniques as well as helping them find new products and services that will help increase their bottom line, making the trip really worth their while. As we look toward this year, once again we look to improve and expand the event with various exciting changes to the event and the PDR Masters as well as other competitions. This philosophy drives us to make it the BEST event in the PDR and S.M.A.R.T Repair and Detailing industries.

PDR Masters

What is PDR? It’s the art of removing dents and dings from vehicles without the use of paint, putty or fillers so the term PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) was coined. Technicians use highly specialised tools access the dent from underneath or behind and carefully massage the damage back to its original shape without cracking the paint or leaving any texture difference. Since no paint or fillers are involved, the vehicle maintains the original factory finish eliminating the worry of paint matching and depreciation of your vehicles. The most common practical use for PDR is the repair of hail damage, door dings, minor body creases, and minor bumper indentations.

The PDR Masters is all about quality and the contestants ability to make good a dent within 30 minutes, under the watchful eyes of the PDR judges. Our exciting competition format provides the perfect platform for technicians to come from around the world annually to compete in the PDR Masters competition including Thailand, Japan, Mexico, Australia, Russia, Ireland, Canada, France, Germany, England, The Netherlands & The United States.
